Our Story
Frank Phillips famously said, “A man never gets his beginnings out of his bones.” The oil boom of the 1920s shaped us as much as the legendary Phillips brothers that became Oklahoma’s original barons. These were the forefathers of ‘hustle’ culture, bedecked in muddy boots, expensive suits, and tall hats. It was an era when people seized opportunity on their own terms and made a lasting mark on Oklahoma. They knew how to take great risks and enjoy greater rewards.

And so we present to you Barons on 1st - a celebration of the finer things by Chef Justin Donaldson. Named for Tulsa’s oil tycoons who enjoyed the extraordinary and exquisite alongside the everyday – this contrast inspires both menu and ambience. Barons offers everyone the lavish experience of dining like an oil baron in stylishly unforgettable surrounds.
So raise your glass and enjoy an evening of extravagance. Work hard, savor every moment, and celebrate in style. After all, Waite Phillips defined happiness as “something to do, someone to love and something to hope for.”
